“Yissum’s mission is to serve as an efficient, bi-directional bridge between cutting-edge academic research and a global community of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry organizations in need of innovative solutions and products.”

For 55 years, Yissum has served as Hebrew University’s Technology Transfer Organization (TTO). Founded in 1964 as the third technology transfer organization ever to be created, Yissum’s brand is globally renown as one of the most experienced and successful tech transfer companies in the world.

Today, we are leading the tectonic shift in tech transfer strategy by encouraging a vast range of external partnerships to allow for the co-creation of technologies, services and solutions. We manage three dedicated seed investment funds focused on different fields, and numerous platforms to promote ideation and entrepreneurship among faculty, students and our community.

Yissum’s spin-off companies include Mobileye, acquired by Intel for over $15.3 billion and is currently the largest exit in Israeli history. Some of our other well-known spin-offs include Qlight, acquired by Merck, and BriefCam, acquired by Canon.
