Amir Lati

Director of North East Asia Department, Asia Division, Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Amir Lati has been working as a career diplomat in the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs  for the past 20 years. Among his diplomatic roles he was the deputy consul general in the consulate general of Israel in shanghai (2006-2011) and the first Israeli consul general in the consulate general of Israel in Chengdu.

Currently he is the director of the north east Asia department in the Israeli ministry of foreign affairs.

Amir holds a BA in economics and east Asian studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and MBA from Tel Aviv University and an MA from the open university of Israel.
